Little Marvels Crochet Circle
Building Skills. Building Confidence. Building Connections.
Ages 8–10 | 4-Week Program | Weekly 1-Hour Sessions
At Mingle & Marvel, we intentionally design experiences that support both well-being and development.
Little Marvels Crochet Circle is a weekly crochet-based program for children ages 8–10 that blends hands-on learning with positive psychology and wholebeing happiness. Crochet naturally engages attention, emotional regulation, perseverance, and confidence—key foundations for lifelong well-being.
Offered as a four-week series, the program allows children to build skills over time within in a familiar and supportive group. The consistent structure helps children feel comfortable, notice their progress, and develop a growing sense of capability as they return each week.
Why Crochet? (The Science Behind It)
Research in positive psychology and child development shows that activities involving repetition, goal-setting, and visible progress can:
Strengthen attention and concentration
Support emotional regulation and stress reduction
Build self-efficacy and confidence
Encourage perseverance and patience
Reinforce a growth mindset through learning-by-doing
The Mingle & Marvel Approach
Little Marvels Crochet Circle is guided by Mingle & Marvel’s commitment to whole-being well-being and the science of happiness.
Our approach focuses less on outcomes and more on how children experience learning, ensuring they feel safe, capable, and supported as they grow.
Mindfulness in Action
Hands-on making helps children slow down, focus attention, and stay present.
Empowerment Through Effort
