Little Marvels Crochet Circle

Building Skills. Building Confidence. Building Connections.

Ages 8–10 | 4-Week Program | Weekly 1-Hour Sessions

At Mingle & Marvel, we intentionally design experiences that support both well-being and development.

Little Marvels Crochet Circle is a weekly crochet-based program for children ages 8–10 that integrates positive psychology principles into a hands-on learning experience. Crochet naturally engages the brain in ways that support focus, emotional regulation, perseverance, and confidence—key foundations for lifelong well-being.

Structured as a four-week series, this program gives children the opportunity to build skills over time while learning in a familiar and supportive group. The consistent format supports comfort, progress, and a growing sense of capability as children return week after week.

This is a space where creativity is used as a tool for building inner skills that matter.

Why Crochet? (The Science Behind It)

Research in positive psychology and child development shows that activities involving repetitive movement, goal-setting, and visible progress can:

  • Strengthen attention and concentration

  • Support emotional regulation and stress reduction

  • Build self-efficacy (“I can do hard things”)

  • Encourage perseverance and patience

  • Reinforce a growth mindset through learning-by-doing

The Mingle & Marvel Approach

Little Marvels Crochet Circle is grounded in Mingle & Marvel’s commitment to whole-being well-being and the science of happiness.

Our approach intentionally weaves together:

  • Mindfulness in Action
Children practice presence, attention, and self-awareness through hands-on making.

  • Empowerment Through Effort
We emphasize progress over perfection, helping children build confidence in their ability to learn and grow.

  • Validation & Belonging
Every child is seen, encouraged, and supported—fostering psychological safety and connection.

  • Leading by Example
Facilitators model kindness, patience, and positive self-talk, reinforcing healthy social and emotional habits.

This is not just a program children attend—it’s a community they become part of.
